Information you send us

When you submit a contact, showing, or valuation request, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message, along with the page you sent it from. We use them to respond to your request and to follow up about it.

Guest accounts and Google sign-in

You can use Google to create or sign in to a Province & Domain guest account. Google sends us a unique account identifier and your verified email address, and may include basic profile information such as your name and profile picture. We use your email address and Google account identifier to verify your identity, create or link your guest account, and give you access to your saved searches, town subscriptions, and saved profiles. We store your email address and the link between your Google identifier and guest account. We do not store the name or profile picture supplied by Google through this sign-in flow.

We do not receive your Google password or request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, calendar, or Google Drive. We use Google sign-in information to operate and protect your account. We do not sell that information or use it for personalized advertising. Signing in with Google does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Account information is held in our portal and processed by the service providers that host and operate it. Access within Province & Domain is limited to authorized personnel who need it to provide services or support. Google's handling of its sign-in service is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Saved information and browser storage

We store a Province & Domain sign-in token, your account reference, and your email address in this browser so you can return to your account. Use Sign out on a shared device. Signing out removes those sign-in details from this browser; it does not delete your account or the searches, subscriptions, and profiles saved to it.

Homes you mark with a heart are saved in this browser. They are separate from your account's saved searches and do not automatically move to another browser or device when you sign in. Clearing your browser's site data removes those locally saved homes and sign-in details.

Managing or removing your account information

You can manage saved searches and subscriptions from your account page. You can also remove Province & Domain's connection in yourGoogle Account settings. Removing that connection does not delete information already stored in your Province & Domain account or sign you out of an existing website session.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your guest account information or Google account link, email info@provinceanddomain.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request. We retain account information to provide the services you use and may retain records needed for security, resolving disputes, or legal obligations. We will explain any information we need to retain when responding to a deletion request.

Agent referral links

If you reach this site through a link one of our agents shared with you, we remember that agent's referral code in your browser for 90 days, in a cookie named pd_ref and in site storage. When you send us a request, alert sign-up, or listing share during that time, we pass it to the agent who referred you. The code identifies the agent, not you. Clearing your browser data removes it.

How we measure visits

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, what device and browser they use, and whether a request form was submitted. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to count repeat visits. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, or message to Google Analytics, and we have turned off Google's advertising and cross-device features.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics does not load on this site. You can also turn it off below. Google describes its own handling of this data atHow Google uses information from sites that use its services.
